School Profile

Alma Mater

The Alma Mater is sung every Monday at Morning Reports and throughout the school year. Hear it here.

Reared on the heights of Ida,
Against the wide-arched sky,
The sunbeams fall athwart thee,
The moonbeams gently lie.
Across thy open hilltop,
The winds blow bold and free;
O ye grey walls, protecting,
We raise our song to thee!

Come let us sing together,
A song of grateful praise;
In honor of our founder
The joyous strains upraise.
’Twas she beheld the vision
And wrought with steadfast will;
’Tis we with joyous labor
That vision must fulfill!

"Semper fidelis" singing
To Emma Willard dear,
Above the grey walls ringing
Our song floats sweet and clear,
O touch each fleeting moment
With friendship’s alchemy.
The days that lie before us
Our memories soon shall be!
