Admissions

Capital District Scholarships

n 2010–2011, Emma Willard School will grant three Capital District Scholarships worth $15,000 each. These scholarships are renewable each year, assuming the student’s day status, academic performance, and positive contributions to the school community continue. There are no special forms to fill out; however, applicants must contact the admissions office and express interest in one of these scholarships.

A panel consisting of faculty members and prominent local businesswomen will make the final selections in conjunction with the admissions office in recognition of academic achievement, leadership ability, and community service.

Merit scholarships do not preclude further financial assistance. Families who wish to apply concurrently for need-based financial assistance are required to submit a financial aid application by February 1.

For further information regarding the Capital District Scholarships or financial aid, contact Jeremy Bollam, Director of Financial Aid, at (518) 833-1322.
